CAT - RAT FARMbizzare : idea 1

With India slowly banning cow slaughter, there will be shortage of meat and the price of mutton, chicken, etc may shoot up. This means that poor people will be starved of proteins and will have to substitute tasty meat with other proteins like soya which are not culinary delights.

The idea is to create and maintain a large farm of cats and rats. The cats will eat the rats and grow. They will be killed when they attain the right weight and the meat packed for sale. As the rats multiply much faster than cats, there will be no cost incurred for feeding the cats. The waste parts of the cat will be fed back to the rats. The Project is self-sustainable. It can be considered organic. The by-product which is cat skin can be made into leather goods.
