When you open the water taps in hotels, it takes a while to get hot water. In some hotels it takes a while and in others, a very long time. This is a waste of precious water and energy to keep heating the water which becomes cold again in the pipes leading to the taps.

In a very few hotels (Barbizon Palace, Amsterdam) hot water comes in almost instantly. Therefore there must be a system to do this, can be very good insulation for the pipes.... unlikely since the pipes is pretty long. Or it could be heating sources very close to the taps. It could be instance electric heaters individually connected very close to vicinity of the taps. The power comes on only when the tap is opened. A small research, talking to the engineers in the hotels will give in all the information required. Then it is a matter of designing, manufacturing and offering these products to hotels, homes, colleges, etc.

The right entrepreneur would be an electrical engineer or any engineer. Could be a new product for existing manufacturer of electrical appliances or heaters.
